Charles Hamilton Pridgeon (1863-1932)

Charles Hamilton Pridgeon (1863-1932) was the son of Johnson and Rebecca Pridgeon, and was born in Baltimore, MD. He was a graduate of Lafayette College and Princeton Theological Seminary. An ordained to the Presbyterian minister, he worked as an evangelist with D. L. Moody. He was later influenced by A. B. Simpson. He pastored the First Presbyterian Church of Cannonsburg, PA. After leaving the denomination in 1901, he founded the WylieAve Church of Pittsburgh, PA. The following year he established the Pittsburgh Bible Institute.
