Description
Translated by Jeff Bohlender. This very literal version of the New Testament was derived from the ultral-literal sublinear of the Concordant Greek Text, stressing consistent use of each word. In other words, each Greek word has its own English equivalent as much as possible, without becoming unreadable. With repeated reading of the entire text, the seeming strangeness can lead to increased understanding and enjoyment.
The extensive index used to build this version is also available from the publisher. The index entries show ultra-literal translations of the original Greek words, and the Strong’s numbers associated with the expressions. A good way to understand the meaning of an expression is to see how it is used in all its contexts. This index based on the New Testament Greek, facilitates easy perusal of most contexts of interest.
Available in large print (14 pt) or standard print (12 pt) typeface in letter (8-½” x 11″) size, in 3 bindings: paperback, spiral bound, hard cover.
